Imagine this. You're on vacation. You want to go fishing in Panama City Beach, but all that's available is those high-priced fishing guides or those deep-sea fishing boats that carry too many people. Sound like fun? Not really. How about a 21' Sea Chaser Center Console, that can take you almost anywhere. That's right, you're on your own boat for the day. Ready to go! All you have to bring is your tackle and a large cooler to bring home your catch. A GPS, Fishfinder, MP3 Stereo and all safety gear are included for a maximum of 6 people. Rods & Reels are available. (Florida fishing license required.)
SPRING FISHING
Spanish mackeral and blue fish show up in the Bay in March. Trout, Redfish, and Ladyfish will be feeding on the grass flats. Pompano, Cobia, and Jack crevalle will be running the beaches, followed by smoker King mackeral in the twenty- to forty-pound class. The average temperature in the spring is beautiful, typically around 75-80 degrees F.
SUMMER FISHING
Trout and Redfishing continues in the bay with best results early or late in the day. Some Pompano, Whiting, and Ladyfish will be in the surf. Inshore you will find King mackeral, small Dolphin (mahi-mahi), and Bonito. Bottom fishing improves the further out you go into the gulf. Offshore offers bigger Dolphin, Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Sailfish, and Marlin. The average temperature in the summer can be rather hot, typically 85-95 degrees F. Hope to see you on the water!
